Leave that leaves little to be desired!

Three types of leave are available to new parents
in Flanders.

Some countries in Europe award more generous maternity
leave, but Belgium makes up for this by offering other
schemes aimed at parents with young children, such as
time credits and teleworking.

Moreover, Belgium ranks very high in Europe for paternity leave, entitling fathers of
new-born children to take two weeks off work with no loss of pay.
